Belgium and Iran have reached a deal mediated by Oman to release detained individuals in each other's countries, Oman's foreign ministry said on Friday.
An agreement has been reached through which the individuals were released and transported from Tehran and Brussels to Muscat on Friday in preparation for their return to their respective countries, the foreign ministry added.
