Former Labor leader and Jewish Agency chairman Isaac Herzog was sworn in as Israel's 11th president on Wednesday.
Herzog follows in the footsteps of his father, Chaim Herzog, who served as Israel's sixth president. His grandfather, who carried the same name, served as the chief rabbi of Ireland and later of Israel.
