IDF halts resident entry to Metula amid Hezbollah fire

The IDF and Metula's local council on Friday ordered to halt resident entry to the border town until Monday morning and updated safety protocols for entering the area.
This decision follows Hezbollah's anti-tank missile fire toward the small community. Council Head David Azoulay insists that residents have the right to return to their homes as long as the area has not been declared a "closed military zone" and as long as "the State of Israel has not entirely relinquished its sovereignty over its northern territories."
