Head of IDF Central Command, Major General Yehuda Fox, recently informed Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi that he intends to end his three-year term this coming August and retire from the army. There is no connection between MG Haliva's resignation and the departure of Fox, who was not involved in the failures that led to October 7. (Yossi Yehoshua)
