Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held high-level talks Saturday on efforts to secure the release of hostages held in Gaza, his office said. The meeting included senior ministers, negotiators and top security officials.
Following the discussions, Netanyahu instructed Israel’s negotiating team to prepare for continued talks based on mediators' response to the latest proposal by U.S. negotiator Steve Witkoff, which calls for the immediate release of 11 living hostages and the remains of half of those killed in captivity.
