Air raid sirens sounded in central Israel on Thursday after Iran renewed missile fire following a brief lull, as alerts were also activated in northern Israel amid Hezbollah fire from Lebanon.
The IDF said it had identified missiles launched from Iran toward Israeli territory and activated air defense systems to intercept them. In the north, sirens were triggered as Hezbollah launched rockets and drones toward Israeli areas near the Lebanese border.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said it dispatched teams after an earlier to a scene of an apparent impact near the city of Karmiel in the Upper Galilee. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Shortly earlier, an Iranian missile barrage set off sirens in the Jerusalem area and in southern Israel.
The IDF said it had identified missiles launched from Iran toward Israeli territory a short time earlier and that air defense systems had been activated. It said interception efforts were successful.
An apparent impact was reported in Beit Shemesh, likely to have been caused by debris from an interception.
Magen David Adom said there were no immediate reports of impacts or injuries.
