Foreign Ministry orders evacuation of representatives from UAE amid NSC warning

Amid the travel warning from the National Security Council to Israelis staying in the United Arab Emirates, the Foreign Ministry has ordered the evacuation of most of its envoys and their family members from Israeli missions in the country - the embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai. This is a very unusual move, which likely indicates a serious alert. Earlier, the NSC published a clarification to the travel warning, against the understanding that terrorist organizations are increasingly working these days to strike Israel. "It is assessed that there is a growing motivation to seek revenge after Operation 'Like a Lion,' and especially following Hamas's 'starvation campaign' in Gaza," the statement said.
