The prosecution has filed an indictment in the Jerusalem District Court against Nader Muhtaseb, a 29-year-old Jerusalem resident, who according to the charges drove the two terrorists who carried out the attack at Ramot Junction in the city where six civilians were murdered. According to the indictment, on the morning of the attack, Muhtaseb contacted a middleman for illegal Palestinian transportations to drive the terrorists to the city for 400 shekels. After discovering that the two had carried out the shooting, he broke and threw away the phone he had used. The indictment charges the defendant with illegal transportation, manslaughter with indifference, aggravated assault and obstruction of justice. A request was submitted for his detention until the end of proceedings.
