According to Macron, the ruling shows that "it's good that there is a Supreme Court and the rule of law in a democracy. It's good that there is government and also checks and balances." Regarding the new tariffs imposed by Trump at a rate of 10%, Macron said that Paris must "consider the implications" of the move and noted that France will continue to export its products.
