Hamas: 'Not deliberately starving hostages, will allow food if attacks stop'

Einav Halabi|
Hamas military wing spokesman Abu Obeida responded to the Red Cross statement that "hostages must be given humane treatment and appropriate conditions," and set a condition to "stop airstrikes and open humanitarian corridors to the Gaza Strip" in exchange for delivering food and medicine to the hostages. He also claimed that Hamas "does not deliberately starve hostages" but rather this is a result of "hunger and siege in Gaza."
