The Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning for Nicaragua, following incidents of harassment against Israelis in the past week. The Foreign Ministry stated that it "recommends Israeli tourists consider whether to visit the location," and clarified that there is no official Israeli representation in the country following the severing of ties between Jerusalem and Managua in October. The ministry added: "Although the country allows entry to Israeli tourists, this is a government hostile to Israel."
