Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a press conference in response to a question from Ynet that "regarding Lebanon, we created a buffer zone, a security zone, that we will remain in as long as necessary." He added that "Iran wanted us to withdraw from there, that didn't happen. Partly because I stood very, very firm and I was very, very resolute and I think our American friends respect that."
