The IDF released details from the initial investigation of the tragedy in Beit Hanoun, where five soldiers from the "Netzach Yehuda" battalion fell. From the investigation details cleared for publication, it appears that all explosive devices that detonated at the scene were placed within the last day. Three devices exploded one after another, while the terrorists who planted them observed the incident. Most soldiers who were wounded or killed in the incident were hit by the explosion of the first two devices - while simultaneously gunfire was directed at the force stationed there.
