Three men were arrested in France on suspicion of promoting a jihadist plan in which they considered joining ISIS ranks in Africa and even carrying out a violent action against the Jewish community in France. According to the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office (PNAT), the three were placed under investigation on suspicion of "association with a terrorist organization for the purpose of preparing terrorist acts." The investigation, conducted by the French domestic intelligence service, was opened in early July following jihadist activity identified among members of a WhatsApp group called "Soldiers of Allah." Following information gathered during the investigation, the three suspects were arrested on Tuesday.
