Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar wrote a letter to his subordinates in which he addressed Operation Roar of the Lion, saying that 'already in the opening strike, we thwarted the senior political and security leadership of the ayatollah regime, led by the murderer Ali Khamenei.' Bar also wrote: 'The fighters of the Air Force's special units are carrying out these days extraordinary missions that could ignite the imagination.'
