National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has sent a letter to the acting head of the Shin Bet security service, warning against the phenomenon of foreign media outlets broadcasting live from missile impact sites across the country. "Despite the explicit prohibition on documenting impact locations – a restriction meant to prevent the enemy from improving their targeting accuracy – some foreign broadcasters choose to air live broadcasts from these locations, endangering national security." In his letter, Ben-Gvir claimed that preventing such damage to national security falls under the direct responsibility of the Shin Bet.
