Sohlberg accepts Likud's petition: orders Eisenkot to remove AI-generated video featuring soldiers

Central Elections Committee Chairman Judge Noam Sohlberg ordered the removal of a video by Yashar! Chairman Gadi Eisenkot featuring AI-generated images of IDF soldiers.
Attorney Ilan Bombach petitioned on behalf of Likud against the video published by Eisenkot, claiming it constitutes use of public assets in connection with election propaganda.
In his ruling, Sohlberg determined that although the video was published before the ban on using the IDF in election propaganda took effect, the permanent legal prohibition on using public assets also applies in this case. It was further determined that the use of uniforms and soldier figures, a significant component in the video's propaganda message, creates a connection between the respondent and the IDF.
