Strook: 'I mourn my daughter's death and her suffering. I'm not angry at those who believed her'

|
Minister Orit Strook addressed for the first time the death of her daughter Shoshana about two months ago, saying in an interview with "120 Ve'Achat," ynet's political podcast: "I am still mourning her. I mourn all of her life, the suffering that was her lot. I also mourn the fact that in the end we couldn't save her." Regarding the suspicion that her daughter was sexually assaulted, in connection with which the minister was not investigated, Strook said she chose not to refute the rumors: "I can't be angry at those who believe Shoshana. I simply know her, she had tremendous power of persuasion. She didn't concoct malicious allegations against us. In her inner world, that's what she felt."
