The Health Ministry announced that Nutrilon products intended for recall from the market were recently sold at a Carrefour branch and a Super-Pharm branch as part of a recall conducted in February. The recall was carried out following an update from the manufacturer in Europe due to possible concern of exceeding levels of a toxin called Cereulide, following the use of ARA fatty acid supplied by a specific supplier. The Health Ministry is in contact with Teva Israel, which markets Nutrilon products, and with the retail and pharmacy chains where the products were sold, to clarify the circumstances of the products' presence on the shelves.
