Father of Hadar Goldin marks 4,000 days since son's capture: 'Leadership prioritized interests'

|
Simcha Goldin, father of captured fallen soldier Hadar Goldin, said at a rally in Hostages Square that "For 4,000 days we said that those who don't return the fallen will abandon the wounded and forsake the living. The Israeli political leadership, security leadership, religious leadership - they didn't listen. They prioritized interests over values. We paid the price on October 7 and we're still paying it 20 months later. Our struggle today is clear - to bring back those we abandoned. This is the Jewish understanding, this is the Israeli imperative."
