He expressed condolences to the families of the five soldiers from the Netzach Yehuda Battalion who fell in northern Gaza, as well as to the families of flood victims in Texas. "President Trump and I believe in the doctrine of peace through strength," he stated. Regarding his upcoming meeting with the President, he said: "We are working on a deal and I hope we can cross the line toward it. We won't give up."
