A 31-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in the community of Zemar near Bat Hefer. Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera. Police have opened an investigation and are conducting searches for the suspect in the shooting. The background to the incident is apparently criminal.
