Iran's ex-FM: 'US involved in massacre in Gaza' warns against 'setting fire to area'

Iran's former foreign minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, attacked the United States, telling the Al Jazeera network that "the Americans, who talk about human rights, are involved in the massacre in the Gaza Strip. The United States has been threatening us for 40 years, but Iran is able to defend itself - and we warn against setting fire to the area." According to him, "the United States does not want a war with Iran, it is smarter than Israel thinks. Our position is known regarding the defense of the resistance in the region, but that does not mean that we influence its decisions." (Lior Ben Ari)
