Film 'No Other Land' Wins Venice Film Festival Jury Prize

|
'No Other Land' (Collateral Damage), a documentary by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor ('No Other Land'), won the jury prize tonight at the closing ceremony of the 83rd Venice Film Festival. The film presents harsh testimonies from soldiers of Unit 8200 about IDF operations during the war in Gaza. Some say in the film that 'they were involved in war crimes and genocide.' According to the filmmakers, this is a policy of deliberate destruction and annihilation, including the use of artificial intelligence. Abraham said on stage after the win: 'Since this festival began, Israel has killed at least six Palestinian children in Gaza. The Israeli intelligence officers we spoke with told us how this mass killing is systematic. Not by mistake, but by design.'
