Finance minister announces minimum wages to rise to NIS 6,000 a month by 2026

Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman announced on Wednesday plans to raise the minimum wage in Israel to NIS 6,000 a month by 2026, or some NIS 33 an hour.
The current minimum wage stands at NIS 5,300 or NIS 29 an hour.
Wages will gradually rise starting next year, as part of an agreement with major labor unions.
