Number of COVID patients in serious conditions drops to 81 in hours

The Health ministry reported that the number of COVID patients hospitalized in serious condition dropped to 81 Wednesday evening, from 84 only hours earlier.
The ministry added that 43 patients are currently connected to ventilators.
Since midnight, 527 new COVID cases have been diagnosed of about 56,000 tests conducted, putting the nation's contagion rate at 1.02%.
