Israel reports 682 new COVID cases; infection rate at 0.74%

Israel on Tuesday reported 682 new daily coronavirus cases diagnosed a day earlier, with infection rate climbing to 0.74%.
The Health Ministry said 93,130 tests were conducted Monday, with virus' reproduction number (R) increasing to slightly above 1.
The ministry said 128 patients are in severe condition, of whom 81 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 8,177.
