Travel warning raised for 80 countries

Due to the increase in threats from Iran and Hamas and the increase in manifestations of antisemitism and attempts to harm Jews and Israelis, the National Security Council increased travel warnings to level 2 for dozens of countries around the world, including Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Argentina and Australia. A more severe warning (level 3) has been issued for South Africa and Eritrea and some countries in Asia. A level 2 travel warning is referred to as an "occasional threat," and the council's recommendation is to take increased precautions when staying in these countries. At level 3, on the other hand, it is already a "medium threat level" and the recommendation is to avoid non-essential travel to these countries. (Itamar Eichner)
