Israel reports 1,118 new daily COVID cases

Israel on Saturday reported 1,118 new daily COVID-19 cases diagnosed a day earlier.
The Health Ministry said after 71,478 tests had been conducted, the contagion rate now stands at 1.58%.
At least 58 patients are in serious condition, of whom 16 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 6,446.
