Nabatieh Mayor Ahmad Kahil was killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit southern Lebanon's largest city, French news agency AFP reported Wednesday morning.
Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that the strikes targeted the municipality building, with several workers and volunteers among the dead.
