The Turkish newspaper Sabah reported Friday that Turkey's national intelligence organization, MIT, thwarted an Iranian assassination attempt targeting Israeli businessman Yair Geller.
According to the report, the assassination was meant to avenge the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was the head of the Iranian nuclear program before his assassination in November 2020.
