Security forces said late on Saturday that they had shot and killed an armed Palestinian who was nearing the West Bank settlement of Kedumim, the home of far-right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich.
Residents were told to shelter at home while searches were conducted to ensure there were no more possible terrorists in the area and were given the all-clear early on Sunday.
