NYPD struggles to contain pro-Palestinian demonstration

Yesterday, the New York Police Department arrested pro-Palestinian protesters who blocked the roads in downtown Manhattan during a mass protest against the war in the Gaza Strip. Clashes erupted on site, captured on cameras, between the police trying to move pedestrians to the sidewalks, and the protesters who took to the streets and blocked vehicle traffic. The mass march, which began in Herald Square, was organized by the pro-Palestinian activist group "Within Our Lifetime" and the Jewish organizations "Jewish Voice for Peace" and "IfNotNow".
