During the conversation, which lasted about 50 minutes, Putin said he was concerned about the confrontation between Jerusalem and Tehran, which he said could escalate in unpredictable ways. He added that the confrontation needed to be prevented from expanding and shared with Trump details of his conversations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
