Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Supreme Court's ruling regarding Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar for the first time at a press conference, claiming the decision is 'outrageous, damages law, democracy and state security.' Regarding Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara's statement that he cannot be involved in appointing the next Shin Bet chief, Netanyahu said: 'I have a conflict of interest? She has a conflict of interest. It's like the camel that doesn't see its own hump.' Contrary to her directive, the PM announced that 'the government of Israel under my leadership will appoint a Shin Bet chief.'
