Palestinians: 'Families in Gaza drowned in heavy rains, Gaza City completely flooded'

ynet|
The Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson claimed to Al-Jazeera channel that "entire families drowned due to heavy rains that hit the Strip," and that the humanitarian situation on the ground is "difficult and catastrophic." According to him, "The Civil Defense lacks the necessary capabilities to deal with the severe consequences of the storm, and Gaza residents are expected to face even more difficult days of distress." He added: "Gaza City was completely flooded within about two hours of rainfall, and the conditions in which the displaced people live are worse than the war itself, with tents being overcrowded and unsuitable for living."
