Police reported that a 17-year-old teen was critically injured by gunfire in Petah Tikva, apparently due to an accidental discharge. "Initial investigation indicates the weapon was legally possessed by a family member and the circumstances are being examined," police stated as they opened an investigation. The teen was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in the city, and according to preliminary suspicions, he was playing with his sister's weapon - who serves in the IDF.
