Heads of 77 local authorities announced that on Sunday, when many organizations will strike in protest for the hostages, they will hold a day of solidarity with the hostages' families. They noted in their statement that according to law, local authorities are not permitted to cease their operations, and therefore decided to dedicate their public work on Sunday to bringing all hostages home. Among the signatories are Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai and Chairman of the Local Government Center Haim Bibas: "We will support any legal action that reminds decision-makers that returning the hostages is a supreme national mission. We will act so that the families are not left alone in their pain and struggle."
