Foreign Ministry advises against travel to Ethiopia's Tigray region amid renewed fighting

|
The Foreign Ministry has advised Israelis to avoid 'non-essential' travel to the Tigray region in Ethiopia, following the resumption of fighting between the TPLF rebel organization and the army, which broke out again on January 27. The ministry said that in recent days, flights to and from Tigray province have been canceled, and further cancellations are possible. Additionally, curfews, roadblocks, power outages and restrictions on internet and communications use may be imposed.
