Attorney David Peter, a researcher at the Kohelet Forum who represented the government in several petitions and Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir in the High Court of Justice, has been given a reserved spot on the Likud list for the 26th Knesset. The party's statement said: "Attorney David Peter is a leading jurist, holding bachelor's and master's degrees from Bar-Ilan University, and is currently working on his doctoral thesis there. Over the years, he has gained extensive legal and public experience in constitutional, public and commercial law, in research and litigation, and has dedicated his work to dealing with fundamental questions of governance, law, freedom and democracy in the State of Israel."
