Bat Yam Mayor Tzvika Brot described the situation at the Iranian missile strike site in his city, where six people were killed. "Even before most rescue forces arrived, the road here was filled with metal debris," he said. "There was dust on all the cars and people were lying on the road, truly images reminiscent of the Twin Towers disaster." According to him, "There are currently 61 buildings damaged, of which six or seven we will probably need to demolish - and that number may still rise." Brot added: "Unfortunately, we have not yet completed evacuating everyone. We estimate that this number will continue to increase."
