The Health Ministry and Water Authority announced that laboratory tests revealed water quality in the area of Kibbutz Maagan in the southern Sea of Galilee is "completely normal." An investigation was launched yesterday following a report of a "localized incident" of fish deaths. The laboratory tests were conducted by Mekorot water company and the Kinneret Limnological Laboratory. Officials said drinking water is safe for use and there are no restrictions on swimming at beaches or recreational activities at the Sea of Galilee.
