Central Command Chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth signed an order to merge the local councils of Elkana and Shaar Shomron. The order will take effect after approval of the regulations required to arrange the transfer of employees between the local authorities, and the Interior Ministry will provide a budgetary framework of tens of millions of shekels for the move.
