U.S. President Donald Trump told CNN in an interview that it is 'very unlikely' he would need to order a return to war with Iran, as long as there is progress in negotiations on the nuclear program and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. 'It depends on whether they sign a very strong deal or not,' Trump said. 'The answer is it's very unlikely that will be necessary. They are a failing nation. Very unlikely it will be needed. I would do it if necessary, but we hit them really hard. I hit them so hard. You don't know how hard I hit them.'
