IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir visited Division 91, along with Northern Command Chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo and other senior officials. Zamir said, "The campaign is not yet over, and challenges still lie ahead. We have achieved many significant operational successes and weakened the Hezbollah terror organization. The IDF is determined to clear the area south of the Litani River of Hezbollah presence, alongside advancing the overarching goal of disarming the terror organization." According to him, "This goal cannot be advanced within the framework of a desirable agreement with the Lebanese government, as long as the Lebanese army does not significantly improve its effectiveness in the field."
