Foreign Ministry denies reports of relocating Israel's ambassador to UAE: 'Not on the agenda'

|
The Foreign Ministry stated that the issue of relocating Yossi Shelley from his position as Israel's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates "has not been discussed at all and is not on the agenda." This comes after reports this morning that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering transferring Shelley, who was the director-general of his office, to the position of director of the Israel Land Authority (ILA) - following three separate incidents in which, according to the Emiratis, the ambassador behaved in an "inappropriate manner."
