Police seek to keep Histadrut chairman Bar David away for additional 90 days

|
Lahav 433's National Fraud Investigation Unit detectives investigating the Histadrut corruption case ("Hand Shaking Hand") have asked the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court to extend the removal of Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar David and insurance agent Ezra Gabay from their positions for an additional 90 days. Bar David is suspected of receiving bribes from Ezra, who is suspected of giving bribes in exchange for transferring insurance portfolios of tens of thousands of Histadrut members to his office. Investigators are processing all seized materials, including thousands of documents and testimonies collected from about 350 people. The request particularly concerns Bar David, as police want him kept away from the Histadrut circle - especially from those being investigated and witnesses in the case.
