The United States imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court, hours after anti-Israeli jurist Nawantem "Navi" Pillay won the Nobel Peace Prize. The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has previously imposed sanctions on prosecutors and judges at the court. Among other measures, the sanctions bar financial transfers related to pension payments for court officials.
