An IDF spokesperson addressed the situation in Lebanon amid the ceasefire, announcing that in the past 24 hours, forces operating south of the 'Yellow Line' in southern Lebanon eliminated terrorists who 'violated the ceasefire understandings and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat.' Additionally, it was reported that 'artillery fire was carried out to support ground forces operating in the area, and terror infrastructure was destroyed in response to threats.' The IDF spokesperson emphasized that the military 'operates in accordance with political leadership directives. Accordingly, the IDF is authorized to take necessary measures for self-defense against threats. Self-defense operations and threat removal are not limited by the ceasefire.'
