Members of the Israeli delegation to Venezuela, including representatives from the Home Front Command in IDF uniforms, met overnight with Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez. The delegation presented to her the national rehabilitation plan for areas affected by the earthquake, which was developed with the local infrastructure ministry. The long-term plan includes sorting approximately 1,300 buildings for rehabilitation and demolition, actual demolition of hazardous buildings, removal of substantial debris and preparation of cleared areas for renewed construction. Currently, the death toll from the earthquake stands at 3,685 people, and 16,740 people were injured.
